SCENIC CEDAR

This was a home that needed to complement and reflect the beauty of the Sussex landscape it sat in. We refurbished both the interior and exterior, bringing it up-to-date both functionally and aesthetically.
The existing cladding was tired and dated – this was replaced with horizontal Cedar strips, larger black aluminium windows were installed and the lower half of the house re-rendered to create an almost unrecognisable property.

In such scenic surroundings, we wanted to create a home that was equally as beautiful to look at, as it was to look out of.
Cedar cladding being installed over the latest insulation to maximise thermal efficiency.
Old white PVC windows replaced with floor to ceiling slimline black aluminium ones.
The rest of the house was finished with insulated acrylic render and cedar details were continued to the garage door.
The modern touches continued inside with a full refurbishment, rewiring and new kitchen, but for us, the hero of this home is the exterior.
